“Powered by Swiggy” —what it actually means.
Zubly is an independent social food platform. It uses Swiggy's developer API (Swiggy MCP) for two specific things: booking restaurants and placing food orders. Everything else — the social layer, the group matching, the payments, the guarantees — is Zubly.

Zubly Table
Restaurant reservations
When a Zubly Table fills, Zubly calls Swiggy Dineout's API to make the restaurant booking automatically.
Zubly Gift
Food delivery for gifted meals
When a stranger buys a gifted meal on Zubly, the food order is placed via Swiggy's food delivery API on the buyer's Swiggy account.
Zubly Challenge
Food delivery for challenge winners
When a food challenge hits its tip threshold, the reward meal is ordered and delivered via Swiggy's food delivery API.
What Zubly does independently
Everything that makes Zubly social is entirely Zubly's own product. Swiggy has no awareness of these features.
- Social matching
- Matching strangers who want to eat together at the same restaurant — Swiggy has no concept of this.
- Table hosting
- The host and guest discovery, seat-confirmation payments, and group management are entirely Zubly's own system.
- Food gifting platform
- The story, craving, and gifting flow — one stranger buying a meal for another — is Zubly's social product.
- Food challenges
- Crowd-funded video challenges, tip collection, and prize distribution are Zubly-built features.
- Payments
- Seat-confirmation fees (₹99) are collected by Zubly via Cashfree. Swiggy handles the food/restaurant payment side only.
- Refunds
- If a table doesn't fill, Zubly issues the full ₹99 refund. This is Zubly's own guarantee, not Swiggy's.

"Powered by Swiggy" means Zubly uses Swiggy's public developer programme (Swiggy Builders Club / Swiggy MCP) to make restaurant reservations and place food orders via Swiggy's API. It is the same relationship any approved developer has with Swiggy through the Builders Club programme.
Swiggy does not participate in, review, or endorse Zubly's social features, pricing, refund policies, or product decisions.
