Once the table reaches its minimum of 3 guests, Zubly books the restaurant automatically via Swiggy Dineout. You turn up at the time on your confirmation — no planning, no group chat.
- How much does it cost to join a table?
- ₹99 per person to confirm your seat. That is Zubly's platform fee and it is all Zubly charges. Your food and drinks are paid directly to the restaurant on the night, exactly as they would be on any other dinner out.
- What if the table doesn't fill up?
- If a table hasn't reached its minimum of 3 guests by the join deadline, it expires automatically and every confirmed joiner is refunded the full ₹99. You are never charged for a dinner that didn't happen.
- Is it safe to have dinner with strangers?
- Every guest signs in with a Google account, tables are always at public, bookable restaurants — never private homes — and the group is 4–6 people, never a one-on-one. You can see who else has confirmed before you join, and the restaurant, date and time are fixed and public on the table's page.
- Do I have to be an extrovert, or come with a friend?
- No. Almost everyone books a seat alone — that's the normal way to use Zubly Table, not the exception. The group is deliberately small so nobody gets stranded on the edge of a conversation, and the table has a stated topic or vibe so there's always something to open with.
- How does food gifting work on Zubly?
- On Zubly Gift you post your story and a craving. Any one person can buy that exact meal and send it to you — it's a straightforward one-to-one payment, not crowdfunding. The food is ordered and delivered through Swiggy.
- Can I win free food on Zubly?
- Yes. With Zubly Challenge you post a video food challenge and the crowd tips ₹10 each. If enough people tip before the deadline, your reward meal is ordered and delivered free. If the goal isn't met, the tips are refunded.
- Is Zubly affiliated with Swiggy or Zomato?
- No. Zubly is an independent product and is not affiliated with, owned by, or endorsed by Swiggy or Zomato. It uses Swiggy's public developer programme to place food orders and book Dineout tables on your behalf.
